Contact us at 615-543-8553 or through this form to receive our modified SF50 Flight Data Sheet to print yourself.
How does this benefit the pilot?
Flight Data Sheets alleviate the need for random hand-written notes and insure the most pertinent information is in front of you during critical phases of flight. The form also helps you get focused for taxi, takeoff and departure phases.
The form consists of fields to be filled out during preflight planning and while determining takeoff distance during initialization.
Our SF50 Flight Data Sheets
Our flight data sheets are meant to provide similar information and functionality, but I have also added some specific details I typically like to have. Our latest SF50 Flight Data Sheets print on 8.5 x 11 inch office paper on both sides of the paper. The image above is a condensed, one page version.
The sheet folds in half along the long side of the paper to provide two Flight Data Sheets per side. The back side includes a large area for notes and a section to record VOR checks, if performed.
I also added Out, Off, On and In times at the top for 135/charter operations.
I added a field next to the departure and destination airports for field elevation to be recorded. This is critical for situational awareness for CAPS availability.
The Takeoff Briefing Section has been modified to include additional verbiage and details. I also added fields next to the destination airport for pattern altitude and a field to note 500-foot AGL.
The latest version also includes a reminder to perform the N.A.R.T. checklist prior to starting the arrival.
